Yes, it comes from Vesuvius, the volcano region and it’s called Lacryma. http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art24322.asp

By the way, I tried it there and I didn’t like it. When you buy a bottle, buy a pricer one or just buy wines from northern italy, they are much better.

The areas around Naples are known for producing a red wine called Taurusi and 2 white wines called Greco di Tufo and Fiano di Avellino.

In the provinche of Naples there are 33 DOC (is a certification) wines.
